Pedagogische Studiën is intended for those who work in the field of education and training and that are interested in a scientific approach to education and training issues. The editorial staff strives to include articles that contribute to a clarification of contemporary problems of education and training. The articles may consist of reports of empirical research, literature reviews as well as discussions and critical contributions. A general requirement for all contributions is that the importance of the issues discussed is clarified and that the contributions are scientifically justified. This implies inter alia that there is a clear problem and that the argument is not only logical and consistent, but also theoretical adequate and/or empirical substantiated and documented. Pedagogische Studiën publishes articles on issues relating to education as well as general educational issues which are relevant for education. Articles may relate to learning and instruction, curriculum issues, the training of teachers, information and communication technology, policy and organization of education, education and society, in primary, secondary and higher education, business and vocational training and adult education, history of education and training, the parent-child relationships, social and moral development, theoretical pedagogy, orthopedagogy, etc. Also articles in which methodological topics and themes in relation to the evaluation of education are considered. In addition, reports of conferences, discussions and book reviews are published.
